Our glorious Archon attended Archon’s Academy, returning (by the grace of some kind strangers) the night before the first day of school with new ideas and tools to implement them.
Mel Daley (RPI’s Assistant Greek Dean), who has been back for all of a month, half of which was winter break, has been thrown straight into formal recruitment season, and has shared their feelings on the topic in the form of a gif:
I feel as though all of us undergrads share this sentiment as we dive headfirst into the Spring semester and pray that it is water rather than rocks that we land on. Or even better, cotton candy! Perhaps we can put that machine to some use…
We have held our first Work Weekend, and are in the process of planning the next; a mini Work Week held monthly to hit the tasks that need to be done more than yearly, but don’t need to be done weekly. This first Work Weekend aimed to freshen the house up after a few long weeks of winter break.
Rush is now drawing to a close. We have had great attendance at our rush events, averaging 6-7 people per event, with 23 unique people, 7 of which have attended more than one event.
